Went with my dear husband, JJ, and the 4 little monsters to a Quinceañera over the weekend. What a great time! If you have never been to one, you are missing out. No one knows how to throw a party like Mexicans! Great food, Lots of people, Great Music, Everyone is dancing, and the beer flows like water! My monsters had a great time running around like Monsters, with all the other Monsters! And I was so hungry, I practically ate 2 full plates. Roberto was dancing with Lalo, Nice! A beautiful little girl in a purple dress walked right up to my 3 year old, Sam. Stood there for a minute, looking at him. He didn't say anything, she walked away. I am having serious issue with my camera, or I would post some pictures. I don't want to blog about it!! I'm very upset!!
I have 2 daughters, and 2 Quinceañeras to look forward to, but i have about 7 more years before the first one. My girls are already excited. I was explaining the Quinceañera, Its a birthday party for girls, because they are becoming ladies. This is something that Mexicans do." "Are we Mexican?!?!" (even thought they already know that they are, Big eyes waiting for an answer) "yes your Mexican" They excitedly look at each other, like the most wonderful thing just happened to them. "Will we get a limo?!?! " "We'll See"
We'll see. I am not great friends with the family having the party last night. But I felt emotional, that my darling babies, would also, one day be little ladies, and then grown ladies. I would freeze time if I could. I would pick any day, and re live it over and over until the end of time. My sweet little monsters.
This is the night my camera flash died, so I only have a few pictures.
